Mission Statement

The Marine Nunn Education Fund (MNEF) was established to bring about awareness to the benefits of education, as well as provide individuals with the encouragement, information and assistance they would need to achieve the tutelage required to succeed in today’s world.

We are a non-profit community-based organization. Our Mission and focused interest is in helping to provide supplemental academic needs to children and their families. MNEF is dedicated to providing professional, convenient and innovative advanced school-age assistance year round, while delivering recognizably high-quality supporter programs to the children, families and communities we serve.

Help the Marine Nunn Education Fund Support Students This Fall

As we prepare for the upcoming fall semester, we’re reminded of the incredible impact your generosity has had on our student recipients. Thanks to your support, they’ve been able to pursue their education with confidence, resilience, and hope.

This fall, we’re once again reaching out to ask for your help. Many of our students face financial challenges that threaten to derail their academic journeys. Your donation—no matter the size—can provide tailored critical resources like our Pocket Change Program. This program provides a weekly stipend to students to be used for incidentals.

Here is our third Pocket Change Winner, Elijah Thomas! In his senior year of high school, Elijah had also received a $1000 grant!

School: Northern Colorado University
Studying: Petroleum Engineering
Hometown: Centennial, CO
Fun Fact: Elijah is in school to design and develop how oil is extracted from the ground.

WHO DO WE HELP?

Olivia attends Marquette University and participates in our "pocket change" initiative.

"I am so appreciative of MNEF for providing me with pocket change that allows me to do laundry and get an occasional pizza during finals"

Nia, graduate of Alabama A&M, was a recipient of our stipend that supplied her with laptop and printer.
